You know you are a bitch when...

the baby starts yelling "dan, dan, dan" repeatedly to the dog. And when I say repeatedly, I mean with the commitment of an 8-year old waiting in line to see Santa. His attention cannot be diverted even for a second.

I think perhaps I am overusing the word "down" in my communication with the dog?

uhm.... well, if it makes you feel any better - Big Guys first sentence was

"No Yucky, no eat my bread, bad og!" (Lucky was the in-laws dog, he could sniff out bread within 100 feet of his nose.)

Since the word the Elijah ended up saying first and the best was "apple". This is a good indicator that these kids are given too much apple juice. Thankfully, we have cut down alot! :)

My dog growing up listened to my mom better than to anyone else. The most often-used command? "MOVE!!!" She was constantly underfoot, usually choosing to lounge in the kitchen while my mother prepared dinner.

Is it atleast freakin' working because manny thinks his NAME is "down" and still doesn't know what to do.

LOL! We have a dog, too, and my 3-year-old is so funny talking to him and giving commands. Tonight we were eating and the dog was nosing the table. She looked at him, very serious, and told him, "No! Go away - this food is for us, not you!"

Note: Our dog has food allergies and she has been told to not give him food b/c it makes him sick. We would have thought she listened that well!
