When the "Wish List" becomes the "Fantasy List"

I hate to bring up Christmas before we even get through Thanksgiving, but since I technically have already had my Thanksgiving, here it goes.

We are doing a name exchange this year in my family as an answer to the carnage that occurred last year. Too many presents. The gifts for the kids were about knee-deep in our living room last Christmas before we even had dinner.

We at Chateau Cookie updated our wish lists at Amazon.com to make it easier for whomever was stuck with us. When I went on to check out Derek's list I found this.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of money does he think Santa's making this year?

Try living in a country where Thanksgiving doesn't happen. Christmas started about three weeks ago.

OHSWEETJESUS! Ten grand? To watch TV? Oh, Men and their darn plasma.

I always complain about the X-Mas stuff going up too early (I also complain about the word "X-Mas") but then my friend at work says that Chiristmas decorating starts "as soon as it gets cold" in the Phillipines, which she says is early October.

And I'm betting it doesn't get all that cold in Manilla.

That would SO be on The PK's list!

Uh...truth is, it'd probably be on mine too! ;)

(And...and how ironic is it that my word verification this time was "imanlvoe"!)

I'm thinking that he plans to win that lottery any time now. He's so sweet. :)

Well, if it makes you feel any better - it's on hubby's wish list, and it's not gonna happen here either. Unless he has the 10K stashed away somewhere that I don't know about.

I know someone that owns that tv or a close facsmilie ( think its a philips instead) they didn't pay for it, it was a gift from the Ritz Carlton. Can't see how else you can get that in a sled.
